As I’m sure we all agree, spam comments are a bloody nuisance we could all do very well without, thank you very much. Nevertheless they seem to come in hundreds at a time, keeping blog keepers busy day and night. Certainly, there’s always Akismet, but even that repository needs emptying on occasion – and who’s to know if maybe there’s a perfectly legitimate comment or two in there, at any given time? (more…)

The soviet Union’s last president, Mikhail Gorbachev, receives a modest € 623 state pension a month.

I’m quite confident that he’ll be able to change that, one way or the other.

He now claims the Georgians started the war, blaming America for interfering, while he’s at it.
