Decent pension for Gorbachev

The soviet Union’s last president, Mikhail Gorbachev, receives a modest € 623 state pension a month.
I’m quite confident that he’ll be able to change that, one way or the other.
He now claims the Georgians started the war, blaming America for interfering, while he’s at it.

iPhone’s professional inadequacy

You may call me a late bloomer. At long last, weeks after the hype subsided, here I am, blogging about the iPhone. But I’m not about to join the hallelujah choir, if that’s what you think. The Ottoman empire strikes again

All right, so I’m royally pissed off. Our company website has been hacked, you see — by the usual suspects, of course: Turkish hackers. Now, there’s every reason to aplaud Turkey’s attempts at remaining a secular state, as well as the country’s democratic approach, but they remain in the technological stone ages, seemingly unable to get to grips with one of their major problems: Cyber crime. Man, am I hot! In every sense of the word, of course. Well, meteorologically speaking anyway. Last night we had 30 degrees centigrades in the shades (and then some during daytime) — in the land of polar bears (allegedly).
